We Don’t Want You Just to Learn a Language

We Want You to Be Able to Live Your Life in It.

This is at the heart of everything we do.

Learning a language should give you more than a certificate.

It should give you independence.

Imagine moving to a new country and being able to handle everyday situations yourself.

You can communicate at work.

You can speak with your neighbours.

You can go shopping.

You can make appointments.

You can ask questions.

You can understand instructions.

You can interact with government services.

You can make friends.

You can understand cultural expectations.

And when something unexpected happens, you don’t immediately have to search for someone who speaks your language.

You can handle it yourself.

That is the confidence we want to help you build.

Your Goal Is Bigger Than Fluency

Fluency is wonderful.

But what really matters is what the language allows you to do.

To work.

To study.

To travel.

To make friends.

To understand another culture.

To participate in society.

To solve everyday problems.

To feel less dependent on others.

To feel comfortable in your new surroundings.

To live independently.

That is our goal for you.

You don’t need to know hundreds of words before you begin.

You don’t need perfect pronunciation.

You don’t need to wait until you have more free time.

You simply need to take the first step.
